As a graphic designer, I’ve had the privilege of creating branding and print materials for nonprofits and art organizations across Ohio, including Berkeley Repertory Theatre and the Dayton Art Institute. Being deaf has shaped how I see the world, helping me notice the small, beautiful details that others might overlook — and that unique perspective inspires everything I create.
Photography is another way I tell stories, specializing in theatre, portraits, creative, and lifestyle photography. I’ve captured headshots for local actors and professionals, events, and production photography for the Dayton Performing Arts Alliance, Beavercreek Community Theatre, Sinclair Community College Theatre, and the Dayton Theatre Guild. Whether it’s actors in their element, candid moments at events, or golden hour portraits, I love bringing stories to life through the lens.

Kirsten took couples portraits for me and my partner. We had seen some of her previous work and knew she had a great eye — but wow — we were blown away. During the shoot, she made us both feel completely comfortable and we had so much fun! In moments we did not know what to do — she would make us laugh or give us great pose ideas. She is professional and personable. We received our photos very quickly after and were in love with the product. Her vision for each shot really came to life in the photos and she captured our essence, perfectly. There is an absolute art to each of her images. We can’t wait to get photos by Kirsten done again!!

Kirsten did an amazing job capturing some of our biggest family moments so far! She took the sweetest photos of our new born baby capturing her innocent and sweetness! She recently took one year old cake smash photos that truly captured our baby's personality! She was wonderful with the baby and such a pleasure to work with!
