New York City, Berkeley, CA, and Ishpeming, MI. Locally, I’ve photographed for the Beavercreek Community Theatre, the Dayton Theatre Guild, and Sinclair Community College Theatre, where I also direct ASL interpretation for productions like 'Twas as DASL (Director of Artistic Sign Language).

When I’m not creating, you’ll find me hanging out with friends (who always keep life interesting), checking out local theatre shows, reading for hours, collecting Disney pins, loving on cats and dogs, or staying up to date with the latest tech.

Through my work, I aim to connect people, tell stories, and capture moments that matter. Whether designing or photographing, I love being part of something bigger— creating art that speaks to everyone.

Hey there, I'm Kirsten.

I grew up surrounded by creative people, and they’ve inspired my journey into the arts. My grandmother plays piano by ear, my aunts are talented in writing, interior design, and art, and even my audiologist — who diagnosed my hearing loss — is a photographer! Being deaf has shaped how I see the world, helping me notice the small, often overlooked details that make life beautiful.

In high school, I discovered graphic design, and it instantly felt like my calling. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working on branding and print marketing for nonprofits across Ohio, interning at Catapult Creative, serving as a graphic design fellow for Berkeley Repertory Theatre, and working as a creative designer for Marion Technical College and the Dayton Art Institute.

Photography is another passion that brings me so much joy. I specialize in theatre, street, portraits, and lifestyle photography, capturing life in its raw and intimate moments. My work has taken me across Ohio and beyond—to Washington, D.C.,

I’ve always been inspired by creativity — from my grandmother’s piano playing to my audiologist, who’s also a photographer. Being deaf shapes how I see the world, helping me focus on small details others might miss.

My journey started with graphic design in high school, and since then, I’ve worked with nonprofits, interned at Catapult Creative, and held design roles at Berkeley Repertory Theatre, Marion Technical College, and the Dayton Art Institute.

When I’m not creating, I enjoy local theatre, reading, Disney pin collecting, and spending time with friends, pets, and tech.

My goal? To connect, tell stories, and create meaningful art.

I love coffee — specifically cold brew, iced vanilla lattes, or iced caramel lattes from local, hometown coffee shops like Ghostlight Coffee and the Coffee Hub!

As Lorelai Gilmore would say:
"Coffee-coffee-coffee is a saying. Like an exaggeration. It's a funny, desperate cry for caffeine. It's just my thing." 😉

I’m a huge bookworm. You’ll find me sitting somewhere comfy with a cup of tea (or matcha, or coffee) reading a book or reading off of my kindle! Once I start reading, I get hooked in and can't put it down!

Currently, I'm reading The Christmas Tree Farm by Laurie Gilmore.

I love hanging out with my friends.

whether it's grabbing lunch, sharing jokes (theatre, inside friend circle, and dad jokes), having get-togethers, going out for drinks, or enjoying karaoke and local theaters.  💜

I'm constantly listening to music of all genre when I'm working, at home, or doing bad car karaoke by myself.

I also played percussion with the Centerville Jazz Band and Centerville 'World' Indoor Drumline way back in the day. So, I'm your typical band nerd at heart. 😉
